Omni Systems very early on in 1977 come out with this 16K static RAM board.
This is a very old board and that's the only picture I have. If
anybody has a better one please let me know.
The board was fast (for the time) using 250 nsec RAMs. It could be addressed
on any 4K boundary in the 64K address space. It also had battery
backup capability. It also utilized very low power (less than 1 amp for a
full board).
The manual for this board can be obtained
here.
